  3. What is a "ZIPPED" File?  A zipped file is one file that contains one or more files, which have all been compressed.  Sound complicated? With WinZip its not!

While on the Internet you will certainly download something, be it a text file, a program, or a graphic.  The vast majority of these files are "zipped".  When you see a program with the .zip extension, just use WinZip to open it, and it will restore the program to its original uncompressed format.
